The brief

Four generations of craft, translated for the shelf.

JDOUDNA is a family-run olive oil brand carrying four generations of growing and pressing tradition. The challenge was translating that history into a visual identity confident enough for retail shelves and international buyers, without losing the intimacy of a product still made by hand.

The strategy

Positioning the brand before designing it.

You already check where your salt or vinegar comes from. Most olive oil doesn't give you that — "Mediterranean" on a label doesn't tell you much: no farm, no family, no year. JDOUDNA does. This grove, this family, this year, named, so you can trust what's in the bottle instead of taking a label's word for it.

Who it's for

People already particular about their kitchen.

You don't need convincing that sourcing matters — you just want a bottle that actually holds up when you look closer.

Why trust it
01
You can trace it

The grove, the family, the harvest — all named, all real, nothing left vague.

02
Both languages carry the same weight

Arabic isn't a footnote translation here — it's written with the same care as the English.

03
The patience is the point

Cold-pressed in October, from a grove one family has kept for four generations. That's why it tastes the way it does.

Voice and tone

Warm, unhurried, plainspoken. JDOUDNA sounds like a family member explaining where the oil comes from — never like a copywriter selling it.

The identity

Where strategy becomes something you can see.

The olive branch illustration and bilingual wordmark carry equal weight in both languages — no language reads as the translation of the other.

01
The coordinates are real

36°42′22″N, 9°30′38″E pins the actual grove — provenance you can verify, not just claim.

02
English and Arabic sit as equals

No language is the translation of the other.

03
Full provenance, disclosed

Producer, region, importer, and nutritional facts all appear. Nothing about the sourcing is vague.
